ObsSea4Clim collects and uses various observational and numerical data across the project work packages, throughout the project duration. The project brings together multiple European and international actors, and the data will be shared between them. Therefore, having a clear and structured data management plan is essential for the success of ObsSea4Clim.

ObsSea4Clim is an early adopter of the EU Open Research Repository Pilot

Additionally, ObsSea4Clim has been chosen to be an early adopter of the EU Open Research Repository Pilot, putting increased focus on accurate data management that follows open science practices and FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) data principles. To that end, ObsSea4Clim is committed to following common standards and best practices, adopting common formats, and ensuring that all data and products stemming from the project are readily accessible to researchers, policymakers, and other stakeholders.

Curious about our approach to data management?

The first version of ObsSea4Clim Data Management Plan has just been finalised, with Antonio Novellino and Beatrice Scotto from ETT S.p.A. leading the work.

The document has just been published and can be read in full on our Zenodo repository.
